What happens to our roses after the show? I take them home and put them in unbreakable plastic soda bottle vases for people in nursing homes. Here is my dining room table in the middle of the post show nursing home bouquet prep.

June 2012 Rose Show Review
Ely Manor in Allegan loves GVRS Roses!
I like the idea, but can’t seem to figure out how you are using soda bottles. do you cut them down? What size do you use?
It is a 24 oz plastic coke bottle with the top cut off right above the label.
And if you leave the label on, the coke bottles are still returnable in the machines at the grocery store for their deposit! I recycle the tops after I cut them off
